Oases

Overview

Oases are wild territories scattered across the map. Players can raid unannexed oases to plunder the resources accumulated within them, or conquer oases using a Hero to secure permanent resource production bonuses for their home village.

Server Resource Stock & Multipliers

Oases autonomously generate resources which accumulate inside their local storage until capped. When raided, the bounty depends on what has currently built up. These mechanics scale dynamically based on the server settings:

  • Game Speed Multiplier: 50x (increases troop growth speed and storage capacity).
  • Oasis Production Multiplier: 10x (scales unowned resource stock accumulation rate).
  • Oasis Storage Capacity: 60,000 units max per resource type (calculated as Oasis Storage Base (800) × Oasis Storage Multiplier (75)).

Each type of oasis is visually distinct on the map. Below is the list of all oases types, their map icons, annexed village production boosts, and unowned hourly resource stock generation rates:

Conquering Oases

To conquer an oasis, you must attack it and completely wipe out all wild animals guarding the territory with a Hero.

Map Position: The oasis must lie within the 7x7 grid surrounding the conquering village.

Hero's Mansion Level Requirements:

Each village can annex up to a maximum of 3 oases depending on the level of its Hero's Mansion:

  • 1st Oasis: Requires Hero's Mansion Level 10.
  • 2nd Oasis: Requires Hero's Mansion Level 15.
  • 3rd Oasis: Requires Hero's Mansion Level 20.

💡 Player Tip: Once you have conquered your oases, you can completely demolish the Hero's Mansion (e.g., using the Main Building demolish option) to free up a building slot. The oases will not be removed and will continue providing their production bonuses!

Wild Animal Spawning

Wild unoccupied oases are guarded by nature animals. As time progresses, if the existing animals are not killed, additional types and counts of wild animals spawn. The mechanics follow an automated database check interval (running every 24 hours):

Tiered Spawning Order & Probability:

Spawns occur in sequence based on what is currently guarding the oasis. Animals climb in tiers:

  • Tier 1: Rats & Spiders: Baseline spawning. They always have a chance to populate on every tick.
    • Rats: Spawns 1–2 base (scaled by multipliers).
    • Spiders: Spawns 0–1 base (scaled by multipliers).
  • Tier 2: Snakes & Bats: Requires at least 1 Spider to be present. Has an 80% chance to spawn 1–2 per tick.
  • Tier 3: Wild Boars, Wolves & Bears: Requires at least 1 Snake and 1 Bat to be present. Has a 60% chance to spawn 1–2 per tick.
  • Tier 4: Crocodiles: Requires at least 1 Wild Boar and 1 Wolf to be present. Has a 30% chance to spawn 1 per tick.
  • Tier 5: Tigers: Requires at least 1 Crocodile to be present. Has a 20% chance to spawn 1 per tick.
  • Tier 6: Elephants: Requires at least 1 Tiger to be present. Has a 15% chance to spawn 1 per tick.
Growth Rates & Multipliers:
  • Spawning Scale: The number of animals spawned on a successful tick is multiplied by the server's TROOP_MULTIPLIER (1x).
  • Growth speed: A growth factor derived from server speed (clamped up to 10x) accelerates the rate at which animals accumulate.
Maximum Limits & Animal Capacities:

Oases have capacity limits (caps) preventing endless growth. These baseline caps are scaled by NATURE_MAX_LIMIT (2x) and are proportional to the animal's weight:

  • Oasis Strength Levels: Baseline Rat caps are 70 (Low), 100 (Medium), and 140 (Strong). These are multiplied by the NATURE_MAX_LIMIT (making them 140, 200, and 280 respectively on this server).
  • Animal Weights (Proportional Caps): Max numbers are throttled by the animal weight: Rat (100%), Spider (75%), Snake (62%), Bat (53%), Wild Boar (48%), Wolf (40%), Bear (33%), Crocodile (28%), Tiger (21%), and Elephant (19%).
